A Provisional Psychologist is a practitioner who has completed extensive university training in psychology and is undertaking their final stage of supervised practice before becoming fully registered.
This stage is a formal and essential part of becoming a registered psychologist in Australia.
Training & Qualifications
Provisional Psychologists have:

Completed an accredited 4–6 years of university study in psychology

They are qualified to provide psychological support and interventions, while continuing to develop their skills under supervision.
